Velocity Pickleball Club

I had the chance to checkout Velocity in Redmond, and I was genuinely impressed. As someone who cares about the overall playing experience, this place checks a lot of the boxes that matter for all the players. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the court flooring. It felt comfortable, stable, and easy on the body, which makes a big difference when you are playing multiple games or moving quickly. The surface had good grip without feeling too harsh, and it gave me confidence during quick stops, turns, and rallies. The lighting is also excellent. The courts are bright and well-lit without feeling distracting, which really helps with visibility and timing during fast-paced play. Another big plus is the soundproofing and overall acoustics. Indoor courts can sometimes get very loud and echoey, but Velocity felt much more controlled and comfortable, making the games more enjoyable. The facility itself feels clean, modern, and well thought out. The spacing, setup, and overall environment make it easy to focus on playing while still feeling social and welcoming. For pickup games, that matters a lot — you want a place that feels organized, comfortable, safe, and fun for players

We got a private tour of Velocity before it opened to the public and really liked what we saw. The courts looked great with nice colors, very high ceilings, good lighting, and the surface seemed somehow comfortable (first thought was less injury prone). Overall, it felt amazing and I’m excited to try it once it opens.

Did a tour of facility. Looks super cool, very spacious. I really like the court color choice and how it’s structured, looking forward to play at Velocity once it opens up.

What an amazing facility - 8 courts with beautiful coloring, sound dampening walls, indirect lighting. You can clearly see that the owners love the sports and are paying a lot of attention to detail. Easy parking as well. This is the new gold standard of pickleball facilities on the East Side!!

Great new 8 court facility!! So excited to have an indoor pickleball place in the neighborhood:) They really created a well thought out facility with best in all important play factors: indoor lighting, high ceilings 20’+, sound mitigation, cushioned court surface & climate controlled. Can’t wait for OpenPlay etc to start soon.
